Before you submit — how we handle your information

Everything you send us is kept confidential and used only to review your request for assistance. Only our grant review committee sees it. We may contact your veterinary clinic to confirm treatment and arrange payment directly.

We keep your application and any documents you upload for two years, then destroy them securely — paper is shredded, electronic files are permanently deleted. This follows the Document Retention and Destruction Policy adopted by our Board of Directors. We suspend destruction only if we are legally required to preserve records.

We never sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to train artificial intelligence. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@thevictorproject.org — and doing so will never affect your application.
